Kingdom Hope for Christian Leaders in a Post-Christian Post-modern Society
May 06, 2023 at 4:00pm until May 06, 2023 at 5:15pm Eastern

In this webinar the implications of a deeply post Christian and postmodern worldview on Kingdom transformation in the city are discussed. Starting in western Europe, a trend of more secularization and (post) postmodern elements are changing the global worldviews. A change in worldview implies that values change, and mindsets shifts in most of its citizens, which also effects the human flourishing (or lack thereof). Therefore, these secularization and postmodern trends, impacts the way we can bring shalom to the city.

Amsterdam has been referred to as the cradle of worldviews. This statement is certainly true for the trends addressed in this webinar, with three generations of post-Christians and a deeply postmodern lifestyle in the city. From the experience of seeking transformation in Amsterdam, this webinar investigates how we can develop a hopeful approach to Kingdom change in the city, with a global relevancy. Questions we seek to answer include:

- What's going on?

- What does it mean for the Church and its leaders?

- Is there hope?

- What could a transformative response from global leaders look like?

- Suggestions to lead for/towards a Kingdom counterculture
