Your Best Opportunity to See God in World Events in over a Decade

We are excited to tell you about a unique opportunity for you to learn about God’s global movements in a once-in-a-decade opportunity. We will have two open house meetings to discuss this and answer your questions at:
August 15, 9am EDT LINK

The Passport to Accelerating Mission is an online 7-10 week certificate you can register HERE.

This certificate will connect you with one of the best global Kingdom research reports we’ve ever seen called the “State of the Great Commission Report.” It will immerse you into the primary global issues we face today, and the twenty-five gaps that Christians will need to address in the next decade in how we display and proclaim the Kingdom of God to our world. This certificate will connect you with fellow BGU alumni and students, as well as advanced leaders from around the world participating in the Fourth Lausanne Congress in Seoul in September 22-27, 2024.

The Lausanne Movement has created excellent and massive content in preparation for their fourth congress in Seoul in September 2024. This certificate is designed to help you meet new people from around the world and discover new ways God is working in the world. The 7-10 week certificate starts on July 14, but you can join anytime in July to mid-August. It will take a minimum of three hours a week including interacting in a virtual affinity role chat room.

There will be weekly Zoom discussions as well. The cost of the certificate is $35. That will help with the cost of administrating the certificate, but more importantly, we all commit to something we have some investment in. The minimal cost will help you show up to your discussion groups each week prepared. There are discount codes for people attending the Lausanne events and for those volunteering to moderate discussions.

Why should you sign up for the certificate?
Every 15-20 years, the Lausanne Movement organizes a global congress. 2024 Seoul is their fourth congress. Through an extensive selection process, advanced Christian leaders from around the world are invited to participate in person in Seoul or virtually. Along with the event, massive efforts are made to assemble content about global trends, how God is moving globally, along with groups that focus on key issues to advance Christian mission. The focus and urgency of others preparing for this conference can serve you to create your own urgency to focus on learning from the best resources possible what God is doing, and how you can hone and connect your calling from God to these movements.

Each Friday at 9am EDT starting July 19th, there is an optional Zoom meeting you can attend that focuses on different aspects of the State of the Great Commission. You can find the Zoom link HERE.

We hope to see you August 15 at the BGU Open House meeting to discuss this certificate. You can also learn more details HERE.
