This October, Bakke Graduate University is launching a new cohort of its Teaching Theology of Work Graduate Certificate, developed by BGU in partnership with the Theology of Work Project — a credential built for people who are already doing the work of integrating faith and vocation, and now need the graduate-level standing to teach it formally.

The certificate is designed for seminary and Bible college faculty, denominational and mission-agency trainers, marketplace leaders, pastors building workplace ministries, and BGU alumni ready for their next credential. Over twelve months, a global cohort of 12–15 practitioners moves through a deliberate four-course arc — See It, Live It, Lead It, Multiply It — culminating in a capstone where each participant designs and teaches a contextualized Theology of Work curriculum for their own setting. Guest lectures from the Theology of Work Project bring additional depth and perspective throughout the cohort.

This builds on BGU's track record teaching Theology of Work to faculty and leaders across nearly 40 countries, and is accredited through TRACS. Participants do not need to matriculate into BGU's EMBA, MATL, DMin or DTL programs to enroll — this is a standalone credential, though credits may later apply toward a doctoral degree for those who choose that path.

Applications are open now for the October 2026 cohort. Given the small cohort size, we encourage early application and welcome institutional partners to nominate faculty or leaders who would benefit from this credential.
