President’s Note - December 2025

When I was a student at Bakke Graduate University, I learned about how I could serve as a catalyst for city transformation by bringing together leaders from businesses, churches, and nonprofits to work toward the common good of the city. My educational experience in the Doctor of Ministry program was truly a life changing experience, and the fruits from the courses that I took more than a decade ago continue to have a profound impact in my life and in my home city of Pittsburgh. Countless lives have been impacted in Pittsburgh through city-wide collaborative efforts.

While I’m excited about the transformational work that continues in Pittsburgh, I am even more excited to have the great privilege of leading BGU’s efforts to scale our transformational leadership training across many different regions, countries, and cities around the world. This December edition of the BGU Newsletter highlights many of the approaches that we are taking to fulfill our mission. By God’s grace, we are equipping people who are leading thousands of people to experience the love of Christ through transformational intervention strategies. Our level of influence, with five graduate level degree programs, 26 certificates, and courses offered in five languages, requires significant resources. BGU offers important discounts on tuition for a majority of world students so that they can have access to our world class faculty and life changing educational experiences.

Tuition and fees help us along our journey at BGU. We also raise funds to fuel our growth strategy. Will you prayerfully consider supporting a new generation of transformational leaders by donating to BGU? An initial group of donors has pledged $63,000, and my goal is to raise an additional $63,000 to match that amount for our yea-end giving campaign for a total of $126,000. That amount would provide a foundation for BGU to fulfill our mission and scale our work around the world. It’s easy to give at https://bgu.edu/giving.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
