Prayer Corner - August 2026

Our hearts are full when we spend time with others who love God deeply and seek to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth so that God’s creation flourishes. This was the feeling of some BGU staff and a current student as we attended the Society of Christian Scholars Global Conference in Nairobi, Kenya. We met face to face with scholars from many countries and cherished the rich discussions. We listened to each other and found our common ground rich with relationship. We learned from each other, and our understanding of God expanded. The hospitality we experienced from BTL (look them up) was true Christian love for the strangers who came to them. Having said all that these questions remain: What did I see that I had not seen before? How have I grown in love? How have I been transformed even more into the likeness of Christ?

As you meet with others and emotions develop, how are you choosing what will impact you, and how are you increasing in grace, love, patience, etc? Where are you experiencing love? Where are you loving? In this polarized world, seeking to fragment any sense of oneness, are you choosing to love the other person with grace and strength? 1 John 1:17 says: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us from all sin.

Walk with Jesus and live life fully.
