The Bible verse undergirding the Dallas City Immersion (October 18-27th, 2024) is “But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." Jeremiah 29:7. Our ancestors or even ourselves have come from somewhere else to the cities we live in. Human movement is a part of human history and God speaks to us on how we should live. This City Immersion will be an exploration of the city of Dallas, its multilayered history and how Christians are helping make it Good News for those who live in it.

for those we will meet that we would be an encouragement
for the faculty as they seek to communicate God’s Shalom
for all the devotional times as students seek after God
for the 10 days spent together forging new global relationships
