Shanti Persaud is a dedicated servant leader, wife, and mother of three daughters, on a mission to empower others to live impactful and purposeful lives. With over two decades in business, six years in banking, and a commitment to "teaching others to fish rather than simply giving them fish," she leverages her extensive experience to add meaningful value to those around her. Since her high school years, Shanti aspired to be a builder of people, which inspired her to earn a Bachelor's in Business Management from the University of Guyana, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Bakke Graduate University in Texas, USA. Recognizing the importance of continual growth, she obtained multiple certifications, including Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer, and Facilitator, Certified ActionCOACH Business and Executive Coach, Adding Zeros Facilitator, Behavioral Analysis Trainer, Accumatch Behavioral Intelligence Coach, NLP Practitioner, and CBET-certified Trainer.
With more than a decade of corporate training experience and over seven years in business and executive coaching, Shanti is passionate about helping organizational leaders achieve meaningful transformation and growth in both their personal and professional journeys. Her dedication to community extends to her service on various boards, including as a director of Youth with a Mission Guyana and President of the Auxiliary of Gideon’s International in her camp. Driven by a vision to inspire change, she founded Guyana’s first non-profit leadership foundation, which focuses on teaching values and soft skills to students and adults, aiming to create leaders who can transform homes, organizations, communities, and the nation.
Shanti also served as chairperson of the Security and Governance Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce (Guyana) and has contributed over 12 years on the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce council. She remains an active member of the Guyana Manufacturing and Service Association. Deeply rooted in her faith and inspired by her conviction that everyone is made to do great work, she strives to help others lead lives of impact and significance. Her life motto is drawn from Mahatma Gandhi’s words: "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
