Professional Experience:
Dan is a spiritual director and Formation Pastor at Renaissance, a decentralized network of microchurches. An ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church, he has been engaged in the church planting movement since 1998, serving five church plants across Massachusetts (Cambridge, Somerville, Boston, Brookline, and Brockton). He currently hosts Boston Camino, a home-based microchurch offering a safe space for spiritual wanderers and seekers. Dan also serves as a content and blog writer for Urban Mystics (urbanmystics.org), curating resources and reflections that connect contemplative spirituality with everyday life. His ministry experience includes extensive pastoral counseling, guiding leaders through spiritual direction, and leading developmental projects in Nepal earlier in his career.
Before entering full-time ministry, Dan worked as a CBT (computer-based training) software developer at Raytheon. A dedicated community builder, he coaches his daughter’s softball team — moving from 10U to 12U — and previously coached softball and soccer at Boston Trinity Academy for six years.
Dan is also a CliftonStrengths coach. His top five themes are:
