Rebecca Gray works for the Southern Company as Manager for Military Strategy and Relations helping a group of operating companies meet their objectives with military bases and related fields. She formerly served as Georgia's Power segment manager for state facilities. During her military career, she had a number of assignments overseeing base-wide food service, lodging, fitness, readiness, mortuary services, recreation operations, and disaster response. In her civilian capacity, she has been the CEO of an Atlanta-based nonprofit community development organization that targets the inner city with an emphasis on housing, youth and senior programs, education, and economic development.
A native of Hermosa Beach, Calif., Gray holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Air Force Academy and a master’s from Liberty University, and a D.Min. from Bakke Graduate University. She is a graduate of Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College from Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. She completed the Harvard Professional Development Program and the Secretary of Defense Corporate Fellowship in 2012.
