Dr. Randy White has worked with faith and civic organizations for more than forty years, focusing on individual, organizational and community transformation. After founding The Pink House Center for Urban Leadership, the Wise Old Owl Tutoring Program and the Fresno Institute for Urban Leadership, coordinated InterVarsity's national program of Urban Projects. From there he went on to train transformational leaders on five continents with renowned urbanologist Ray Bakke. From there he founded the FPU Center for Community Transformation, contributing multiple economic transformation initiatives in his community of Fresno, California, from the Spark Tank Social Enterprise Pitch Fest to a Leadership Certificate for Spanish Speaking Leaders, to Financial Literacy training systems, and more. White continues as a Senior Associate with Leadership Foundations. He is the author of many articles, and six books, the latest of which is Out of Nazareth: Christ-Centered Civic Transformation in Unlikely Places (Urban Loft, 2017).
White and his family lived for 28 years in Fresno's highest crime, lowest income community, seeking its well-being in the name of Christ. Randy and his wife Tina now live and serve in the Jackson neighborhood, on the same street as their six grandchildren.
