Professional Experience: Dr. Jerome Coleman was formerly a Parole Supervisor for the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. He retired from the Parole Board in March of 2007 to pursue full-time ministry. He became the Executive Minister of the Bethlehem Baptist Church under the direction of Pastor Charles W. Quann in April 2007. Dr. Coleman was called to pastor the First Baptist Church of Crestmont in Willow Grove, PA in January 2008. He received his Master of Divinity from the Luther Rice Seminary in May 2008. The grace of God has allowed First Baptist to significantly multiply, mature, and make a difference in the community, under his leadership. In November 2016, Dr. Coleman successfully defended his doctoral Project, “Small Group Ministry in the Life of the First Baptist Church of Crestmont” and received his Doctorate in Pastoral Leadership from Temple Baptist Seminary of Piedmont International University, Winston-Salem, NC. He is currently the Moderator of the Suburban Baptist Association; Eastern Regional Director of the National African American Fellowship; Board member of the Baptist Resource Network; and a former Board Member of the Human Relations Commission and the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, Montgomery County, PA.
