Dr. Bekele Tulu is a veteran church planter, preacher, and theological educator with over thirty years of ministry experience. He serves as the President of Global Disciples for Africa, leading mission and leadership development initiatives across the continent.

Dr. Tulu has taught in theological seminaries for seven years and continues to serve as an adjunct lecturer and research advisor for graduate students. His ministry and scholarship focus on discipleship, transformational leadership, and mission in African urban contexts. He holds a Diploma in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Christian Ministry, and a Master of Arts in New Testament Studies. Dr. Bekele also holds a Doctor of Transformational Leadership (DTL) and a PhD in Innovative Urban Leadership from Bakke Graduate University. Dr. Bekele lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
