Faculty Senate President

Dr. Antoine Hawkins is a seasoned public administrator with over 25 years of experience working in public school districts at the Executive Cabinet level. Dr. Hawkins has served as a Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Chief Business Official in public education systems. He has managed a cross-section of divisions, including Human Resources, Fiscal Services, Adult Learner Education, Pre-School Education, Early Head start, Mental Health Services, etc. Dr. Hawkins has also directly managed public funds ranging from $60,000,000 to currently over $200,000,000. 

Dr. Hawkins is currently an adjunct professor in the school of management at City Vision University where he teaches both graduate-level and undergraduate courses. He has also taught in his local community college district. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for SFCU Bank and is an alumnus of BGU who also has the distinction of having served as a founding member of the BGU Alumni Association. Dr. Hawkins's motto is “nothing can be compared to the Glory, which shall be revealed in us.”
