“Credentials given to a servant-leader are used to create less privilege and more capacity to serve.”
“Graduation is an event to celebrate people who have loved you through the journey.”
“Professors have expanded my brain. The poor have enlarged my heart.”
“The more a person studies God, the more they realize how much they don’t know.”
“The person who claims to be a theological expert is not.”
“If you can’t teach theology to an eight-year-old, then you don’t understand it.”
These are all statements spoken over the last two decades at various BGU graduation events.
BGU held its 2025 graduation event on June 7 with graduates from BGU’s English, French, Korean, and Spanish speaking programs. The BGU slogan, “Don’t just study the world, study with the world,” was never more apparent as graduates from around the world gathered in Dallas to receive their diplomas and hoods.
BGU prepares students who want to be masters and doctors of service, humility, and discipleship.
As BGU approaches its financial year-end on June 30, please prayerfully consider giving to BGU to help more and more servant-leaders pursue downward mobility.
