Don’t miss the first-ever Writers’ Community Virtual Café on August 9th. Bring your coffee, your comments and your questions as we follow up on the June session we enjoyed with Dave Goetz and Melissa Parks, writing coaches from JourneySixty6. If you missed the session, you can hear Dave and Melissa’s presentation on “REIMAGINING STRUCTURE: How to Build a Nonfiction Book that Stands Strong” HERE.
This will be a free-flowing, unscripted conversation. However, to help you gather your thoughts and open the discussion, please consider sharing with the group one or two of the following:
Your most important take-away on why structure is so important.
The development of your thesis as both “Subject” (the big idea of your book) and “Compliment” (what you are saying about your big idea).
How you plan to use (or have used) stories to define and/or bring application to the BIG IDEA of your book.
A description of your narrow audience.
How you personally keep writing structure fluid or malleable.
