The Kingston, Jamaica Immersion will take place January 30 - February 8, 2026.
Theme: Nurturing Shalom in the City
Jamaica is often referred to as God’s paradise in the Caribbean Sea. So breathtaking is its natural beauty that the Spanish and British colonies fought bitterly to ‘own’ it. The suffocating, abusive years of slavery annihilated Jamaica’s natives, who were replaced by African slaves under British governance.
Today, Jamaica is a collage of African, Chinese, Indian, and many other migrant nationalities, making its motto “out of many one people” a true reflection of its population.
Join us in the city of Kingston, Jamaica’s capital, from January 30 to February 8. Here, we will reflect on the island’s beauty, charm, socio-economic challenges, and the Christ-centered interventions that aim to transform a city aching to rid itself of the anomalies of violence and infrastructural malaise.
