With over 50 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Craig Poole has earned several prestigious DoubleTree by Hilton Reading highest honor awards between 2016 and 2023. Craig has been dubbed the "Mayor of Penn Street" for his exceptional community service.

Jack Van Hartesvelt, BGU Board Chairman and Partner at Hartland Hotel Group  (www.hartlandhotelgroup.com)

This company is actively involved in the development and operation of the hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles, a 268-room lifestyle hotel. The company is also involved in a number of other US-based hotel projects. Mr. Van Hartesvelt was a Private Equity Fund manager where he bought, built, renovated, and asset managed over $1.0 billion in hotel-related assets. Jack has had direct ownership in numerous hotels, bars, and restaurants over the past 30 years, including most recently the Hotel Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles. In many cases, the lodging concepts that were created under his direction were not initially affiliated with an established hotel brand, necessitating that the hotel had to be a brand in and of itself. This would include: the Liberty Hotel in Boston; The Madison Hotel in Washington DC and the Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles.

Kimberly Thomas, BGU Board of Director; Founder/CEO of Global Advisors Development Group, a referral-only company that advises for-profit and non-profit organizations regarding business development, wealth building, and legacy building strategies and implementation; Principal and Managing Partner of TL Capital Group, a firm specializing in real estate development alternative investments in various asset classes: medical build-to-suit, industrial complexes, multi-family housing, BTR (build-to-rent) communities. Over the past 35 years, Ms. Thomas has worked for a broad spectrum of privately held and public corporations, as well as non-profit organizations.
