BGU Alumni Participation at the Caribbean Evangelical Theological Association (CETA) Consultation & Conference

March 16-21, 2026,

Four Season's Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica.

The theme of the three-day Conference, which followed the Consultation: Leading and implementing Digitally-Enhanced Theological Education. The main facilitator was Dr. David Turnbull (LOGS-LLI). There were over 50 participants from across the Caribbean, including Cuba and Haiti, and presenters from the USA associated with ICETE. 

Five BGU Alumni who hold leadership positions in CETA and evangelical theological higher education institutions in three Caribbean islands participated in the Conference.  They are:

1. Dr.  Stenneth Davis- Academic Dean, Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean (Jamaica)

2. Dr. Desmond Rogers - Member, CETA Executive Committee (Guyana)

3. Dr. Marlene Hines - Member of the Board, College of Theological and Interdisciplinary Studies (CTIS) and lecturer, Transformational Leadership for Christian Leaders at the bachelor's level (Jamaica)

4. Dr. Margot Francis - CETA (Jamaica)

5. Dr. Claudia Charlot - Academic Dean, Emmaus University (Haiti)

Emmaus is now offering a Doctor of Transformational Leadership program in collaboration with BGU.
