Dr. Yeo Siew Yam 杨秀炎

I am Dr. Yeo Siew Yam, from Singapore. For over three decades, I've worked in research and development, in management. I led organization and capability development initiatives at a university research lab, and served on both church and non-profit company boards. When I decided to pursue further education, I was searching for something rare - a program that would integrate my faith with my professional calling. That's when I discovered Bakke Graduate University's DTL and MBA program.

The BGU academic program wrestles with real questions: How does our faith inform leadership? How do we steward resources and people with Kingdom values? How do we navigate ethical dilemmas in complex organizational contexts? For someone managing research and development while serving on governance boards, this integration was transformational.

BGU's design balances in-person intensives with online engagement, offering flexibility without sacrificing depth. My cohort included non-profit leaders, business executives, pastors, and social entrepreneurs from multiple continents - these became my trusted advisors and collaborators.

Every course includes practical projects. I wasn't just studying organizational development theory - I was applying it to real challenges. I found that the faculty were deeply committed and supportive, and the digital library resources were robust.

I'm glad BGU is launching a Mandarin EMBA, making this unique program available to Mandarin speakers. BGU truly understands working professionals who want to integrate faith, scholarship, and practice.
