Givecare’s Fund Raising Plan and Establishment of a Christian Leadership Microfinance Program for Low-Income Women Communities in Nigeria

This report documents GiveCare organization’s fundraising plan and establishment of a Christian Leadership Microfinance Program for low-income women in northcentral and southwest communities of Nigeria. The project is designed to develop a funding and resource mobilization plan to enable 50 low-income women entrepreneurs to participate in GiveCare’s holistic microfinance program. The project focuses on three components: 1) lending by providing capital for participants’ businesses at an average of $500 per participant, 2) training/coaching by developing and implementing a comprehensive Christian leadership curriculum, and 3) facilitating a Win-Win (Women in need Win) network for community building by providing consultative forums and establishing a multipurpose resource center where women can learn, interact and grow in Christian leadership.
