In terms of design, this project fits the category of a case study. This project is meant to examine, identify, and develop a practical approach to draw the churches of rural Harney County, Oregon, to a theological position of biblical unity.
This project will carefully examine and evaluate the various Christian church groups represented in Harney County. It will provide a discussion of the history of where the churches have been and where they are today in regards to reconciliation with other fellowships as well as developing a practical approach to addressing the issue of denominational reconciliation. This will be accomplished through the meeting together of various clergy and lay leaders from the various representative churches. Methods for implementing change will be explored through research and testing. An evaluation will be included to show possible ways of breaking down the walls of denominational barriers among the churches.
