If we look at three major social trends that will predict the future direction of Korea, we are moving from an aged society to a super-aged society. The second is the continuous decline in birthrate, and the third is the concentration of urbanization. Based on the data of Statistics Korea in 2023, Korea is predicted to have a population cliff of 36 million people in the worst case by 2050 due to the rapid aging rate and declining birthrate that is currently unprecedented in the world, and the proportion of the elderly population aged 65 and over is expected to exceed 20% in 2025. South Korea's ultra-low birthrate is 0.72 in 2023, well below the OECD average of 1.59. One of the major synchronizing phenomena accelerating this phenomenon is the phenomenon of urban concentration. Korea's urbanization rate is higher than the OECD average of 74.1%. In 2023, 92.3 percent of the Korean population live in urban areas. Urban concentration accelerates and has serious side effects such as regional hollowing.

According to a 2021 survey by Korea Research, the number of Protestant believers is about 19.7%, but the number of believers has been declining since the COVID-19 pandemic, and the number of non-religious people accounts for about 50%.(Religious Indicators,2021). It is no exaggeration to say that the Korean church is facing a serious situation in which more and more small and medium-sized independent churches and rural churches have closed or are planning to close their doors after the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, with the exception of a few megachurches in Seoul and other large cities, most churches are facing many internal difficulties in specific methods and practices on how to sustain the church, sustain its growth, and leave a spiritual legacy for the next generation. I believe that the church should continue to make in-depth preparations and discussions on how to overcome these three major risks and fulfill the Lord's Great Commission, centered on the church and through discipleship training, the goal is to nurture small group leaders who will help the spiritual growth of existing members, and to present a communal model for spiritual growth centered on the pastor and the church.

The study consists of four main components:
 This study explores the foundational steps for transformative discipleship training.
 It aims to build systems that effectively implement and sustain the process.
 It examines materials and methods for Discipleship 2.0.
 It proposes a public model of mature discipleship lived out after training.

Uses qualitative research methods with an interpretive paradigm, which involves analyzing the subjective consciousness of the researcher and understanding the context and interactions of the participants. Triangulation is used to increase credibility and validity through analysis of public documents, participatory observation, and interviews with trainees participating in discipleship.

For the purpose of this study, we reviewed previous studies and literature on transformational missional leadership, workplace mission, discipleship, and vocational leadership, and we plan to conduct qualitative research focusing on examples of wholeness discipleship in life through transformational discipleship. In particular, it uses a value-oriented (interpretive) paradigm to understand the interaction situation and context of research participants based on the subjective perception of the researcher, and aims to integrate research and implementation to present research results. analyze public documents to increase their credibility and relevance, We want to use the triangulation method of conducting interviews with discipleship participants and their pastor. Therefore, this study aims to cultivate the most important spiritual lay leaders in the era of transformational discipleship 2.0 and to contribute to opening new horizons for spiritual expansion.
