A desirable outcome in church ministry planning today is that the purposes, goals, strategies, and implementation of ministry efforts be the finest they can be, given the excellent resources available from Christian literature on the subject. In this regard the proposal and development of church ministries must be done through effective planning which is undertaken according to well thought-out research and practicality.
This project is intended to answer one central question: What model of clearly-defined ministry master planning can create more effective church ministry at Community Bible Chapel in Spokane, Washington? This project will present a comprehensive plan for ministry at Community Bible Chapel that looks at the four areas of purposes, goals, strategies, and implementation with the intent of improving the overall effectiveness of church ministry. I am greatly indebted to Lyle E. Schaller and his writings on church planning and have an affinity with a number of his ideas. The development of the ministry plan and information presented will suggest applications for other comprehensive ministry plans in other churches.
