Writing Well as Stewardship
Course Description

This course is intended to help BGU students who need additional help with conveying their ideas effectively in writing. It covers organizing ideas; writing paragraphs, transitions, and sentences; spelling, grammar, and punctuation; and measuring readability.

Course Outcome
  • Organize ideas that lead readers into right understanding.

  • Break up visual density with effective paragraphs; bridge over breaks with transitions.

  • Compose clearly written sentences.

  • Choose words that work with no explanation.

  • Signal clearly with punctuation marks.

  • Use tools to edit and measure readability.
