Bio: Dr. Rodney Rogers has directed research at the University of Pennsylvania on topics relating to religion and civil society. His work with Public/Private Ventures in Philadelphia resulted in the development of a faith-based mentoring model called Amachi. He has served as a trustee and interim CEO to Sayre Health Center, a school-based federally qualified health clinic for underinsured residents of West Philadelphia. For the past 14 years, he has been a guest lecturer to seminaries, universities, and to community organizations on a local, national and international basis. He currently serves as the senior pastor of Christ of Calvary Covenant Church and as the headmaster of Covenant Leadership Academy in Philadelphia. His doctoral work examined populations of Christian and non-Christian parents in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Harare, Zimbabwe in an attempt to explore parent leadership paradigms.
