Ownership Chain Management in Western Kingdom Movements by Andreas Andersson

Ownership Chain Management in Western Kingdom Movements by Andreas Andersson

The book titled Ownership Chain Management in Western Kingdom Movements (with the subtitle How the Church in the West Can Build Self-Multiplying and Sustainable Movements that Transform People and Communities) was recently published by BGU alum, Dr. Andreas Andersson. The Ownership Chain Management (OCM) can be likened to a relay race in which ownership of various types of critical resources is being passed on from one link in the chain to the next, as effectively and as efficiently as possible. Proceeding from Jesus’ model for making disciples who make disciples, I show how a tailored OCM process can be used strategically to enable exponential growth, long-term viability, and transformational impact.

The book presents:

  • The six-step process of Ownership Chain Management and its implications for Kingdom movements.

  • The cultural context and current status of the Western Church .

  • Six types of material and immaterial resources that each person in an ownership chain needs to take ownership of and pass on to the next link.

  • 24 key factors for building self-multiplying, sustainable, and transformative Kingdom movements.

  • 11 paradigm shifts that churches in the Western world need to undergo to reach people outside the church walls in an effective and culturally relevant way.
