Consummation by Randy White

Consummation by Randy White

A recent novel by BGU alum, Dr. Randy White.

Keith Gilbert is a development expert establishing micro-loan programs in areas of extreme poverty and corruption around the world, but his internal world is corroding. He is questioning his own value, the worth of his work, and he is harboring a secret. His kidnapping in Ghana unleashes both an inner journey and an international chase, testing both his spiritual foundations and identity. Keith’s wife Esther enters her own pilgrimage, as does the innocent Alyth, who is caught in the drama. What they discover will lead to deep transformation, to false hopes dashed, to disappointment and delight, and reveal the power of deep friendship and grace. Consummation captures the internal journey of people trying to navigate their needs, illusions, expectations and faith in a quest for something more.
