Jesus was born in the middle of chaos, a nation on the move as its citizens went back to the towns of their birth. His early childhood was spent as a refugee in Egypt. Not much has changed, we still live in chaos around the world. Uprisings, take-overs, dictators, wars, displaced people, and so many hard situations are thrust upon the people on our planet. Ray Bakke, one of the founders of BGU helped pastors and leaders understand how much God loves the city and the people in it. Today, leading from his footsteps, our student body brings God’s Shalom to their unique areas of influence. BGU’s student body is global and exists within the chaos of humankind. This Christmas would you pray for our students, faculty, and staff in the following ways:
For their and their families' physical and mental health.
For their safety as they navigate dangerous political and environmental climates.
For their finances so that they can pay for their tuition.
For BGU as we fundraise to support global discounts for students who come from countries where we give a subsidy.
For rest over the season so that they can truly worship and celebrate the birth of our savior.
Thank you for standing by us in the past year. May God bless you with joy in this season.
