The State of the Great Commission Report was released in April to prepare for the Fourth Lausanne Congress in September 2024. The Report identified 25 gaps in achieving the Great Commission and provided a wealth of information about each gap.
This certificate course is designed for anyone who is interested in achieving the Great Commission. The ideal participant is someone who understands the world is constantly changing and is willing to engage in humble reflection and innovative, collaborative action. This course is designed for:
BGU students, faculty, staff, and alumni
Participants in the Fourth Lausanne Congress – in person and virtual
Christians from all sectors and nations who sense global shifts, understand there are gaps in achieving the Great Commission, and are interested in creative engagement with their communities.
This certificate course offers an opportunity for participants to engage with the content in The State of the Great Commission Report, join facilitated conversations, reflect on implications, and make applications to each participant’s context.
The certificate course offers several levels of engagement and allows each participant to customize their path through the content.
The elements of the certificate course include:
Seven Global Conversations hosted by BGU to discuss the topics via Zoom.
Lausanne Content Organized by Topic ~ Choose your topics of interest for easy customization.
Moderated Discussion Forums ~ by Topic and Sphere of Influence.
The certificate course will run July 14- October 14, 2024.
