Jewel Hyun is the founder and president of Matthew 28 Ministries that focus in Kenya on developing and training women leaders, adult literacy program for Maasai women, and community transformation through micro-entrepreneurship that empowers women to start and sustain steady-income generating micro-businesses. She participates in teaching leadership development courses at Lifelong Learning and Leadership Development institute at St. Paul’s University in Kenya and teaches Theology of Work at seminaries in Kenya and Korea. She served as a mentor for the Field Ministry course at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s Boston campus and worked in the financial industry for over 25 years, specializing in information technology. She also operated her own IT consulting firm. She earned her MS degree in Nuclear Physics from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, and her MA in New Testament and D.Min. degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
